At GEMS we strive to educate, empower and provide a range of birth options to families in North-West Tasmania. We believe that pregnancy and birth are a significant-, but normal part of life and our practice focuses on promoting a holistic and positive pregnancy and birth experience.

We offer quality and individualised midwifery services to mothers and babies on the North-West coast, covering most areas between Circular Head, Burnie, Latrobe, Meander Valley up to the West Tamar region.

We provide complete antenatal-, birth- and postpartum care and  offer the option to have a homebirth or support you at the hospital.
